This extension detects Japanese era names (Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, Reiwa) on web pages and shows an easy-to-read Gregorian year—entirely on your device. Features • Auto conversion after the page loads • Optional original-era text kept, e.g. “Reiwa 6 (2024)” • Highlight styles: background and text colors; option to highlight only the converted year • Choose which eras to convert • Context menu: convert only the selected text when you don’t want the whole page changed Privacy All conversion runs locally in your browser. The extension does not send page content or browsing history to external servers. Settings are stored with Chrome’s sync storage according to your Google/Chrome account; the developer does not receive that data.
