MarkMind is a web highlighting & notes tool that helps you capture, organize, and revisit ideas on any web page. ★ Highlighting & Annotation One-click mark on text selection, 6 colors. Supports Markdown notes with live preview. Floating toolbar is draggable & resizable with built-in copy/paste shortcuts. All popups support 8-direction drag-resize and 4 position modes (follow / left / sidebar / center). Works in iframes (Lanhu, Axure, etc.) and chunked streaming pages (CNKI, etc.). One-click copy mark link — opening it auto-scrolls to the corresponding position. ★ Mindmap (Outline) AI induces a knowledge-point hierarchy from the page body, and marks attach as leaves under the best-matching point — revealing the full article structure and where your marks sit. Nodes can be dragged to rearrange; positions and viewport are auto-saved. Marks can be linked via relations (argument / counter / extend / define / contrast — 5 semantic types), distinguished by line style and arrow. Drag a relation edge directly to adjust its curve; hovering shows the relation type name. ★ Organize & Filter Global grouping supports multi-level paths (e.g. "Dev/Frontend"). Marks have a type (mark / bookmark) and group field, with automatic migration of old records. Sidebar filters by page / site / color / group plus full-text search. Split-view divider is draggable. List auto-paginates (50 per page). Star-to-pin-to-top. Batch delete / export / share / set group. ★ Import & Export Import browser bookmarks (Netscape HTML) — auto-converted to marks by group path. Export marks as JSON (full data) or importable HTML bookmarks. ★ Cloud Sync (optional, user-controlled) Sync via your own GitHub or Gitee Gist. Off by default. Token stays local only. Sync scope is selectable (marks / AI config / style settings / mark settings — independently checked). ★ Share (optional) Generate a public Gist share link for selected marks. Others import by pasting the share code — no token needed. Auto-reuses / updates existing shares to avoid duplicates; share history syncs across devices. ★ AI Assistant (optional — requires user-configured API key) Bring your own key and endpoint; supports any OpenAI-compatible API. AI requests go directly from your browser to your configured provider — the developer never touches any data. Available AI actions: - AI Translate: translate marked text to a target language - AI Tags: auto-generate structured tags from mark content - AI Reference: AI interprets the page body and your notes, then extends the thinking - AI Tutor: evaluates note accuracy, points out errors, supports follow-up dialogue All AI entries can be turned off with a single master switch. ★ Customization Light / Dark / System themes. Supports Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Russian. Toolbar and mark-detail popup positions are customizable. ★ Privacy Local data is stored only in the browser's IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local.
