Label your task so you remember what you were doing. Hit Start and focus on one thing until the bell rings. Take your break. Repeat. After four sessions, the app suggests a longer break. That's it. No setup wizards, no dashboards to configure. Timing happens on your device. Your session history, task labels, and reports are stored in your browser and, if browser sync is on, copied to your other signed-in devices. Can I change the session lengths? Yes. Choose 20, 25, or 50-minute focus sessions, and adjust both short and long break durations to match your preference. Does it keep running when I switch tabs? Yes. The timer keeps running in the background, even when the tab or window is not active. Why does it need permissions? Two, both minimal: notifications (so you hear the bell when a session ends, even if Chrome is in the background) and storage (to keep your settings and session history in your browser). The extension also has access to one of our websites, which it checks only for the payment success page. It does NOT request access to all your tabs, browsing history, or website content. You can audit this in chrome://extensions. How is this different from a website timer? Website timers stop the moment you close the tab or get distracted by another site. This extension runs in the browser background, the bell still rings, your reports keep building, and your settings persist across browser restarts.
