Free Video Downloader allows you to download videos of all known formats: mp4, webm, mpeg, ogg, etc. The extension also allows you to download HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) videos. HLS video is saved to your computer in a file with the .ts extension, which you can later view in any media player. In the new version, the extension can download streaming MPEG-DASH video and combine audio and video into one file. The extension is very easy to use. First, you need to open the page with the desired video and start playing it. Then click on the extension icon in your browser and in the window that appears, select the video file you need. Click download in a few seconds you will start downloading the video to your computer. The extension is convenient to use for downloading movies when you are going on long trips or travels. Download your favorite stories from Instagram, videos from TikTok. Also all kinds of videos for preparing presentations. Free Video Downloader does not have the ability to download YouTube videos as YouTube's privacy policy prohibits this.

had been using with no issue for about 3 weeks, when I attempted to download a rather large video, 3 hours long, and over 3 GB in file size, and discovered that every time without fail the extension downloads about 2hrs 10min of the video (a little over 2 GB) and then stops and claims that it is finished. I have tried this with multiple long videos and have the same result. I would like the developer(s) to address this issue, as this is otherwise the best of this kind of extension I have enco... I've been using this video downloader for a few weeks now, and it has made my life so much easier! The interface is user-friendly, and I love how quickly it downloads videos. Perfect for when I want to watch offline. Highly recommend it!
